No one can make you miserable without your consent

By default, we all blame another person or situation for being hurt. It is always difficult to take the blame solely on us. But in reality, only we can hurt ourselves.  If we did not let any pain to affect us, we wouldn't be anywhere near being hurt. Let's put it into a perspective of something literal and physical. Let's use sports. For example you tried to play tennis or football, and you got hit by the ball in the face, some may initially cry but to some they will tolerate the pain because they want to play more. They turned the pain into a learning process and translated it as fun rather than something outside their comfort zone. So what if they get injured, bleed, or be in a fatal situation? We'll our bodies have its own natural process of protecting us that is beyond our mind's control, where consent happens. To some, they give up and it makes them miserable as they walk away from their passion. Some may opt to be one of the people behi...

It's Okay to be Afraid

It's okay to be Afraid. Fear doesn't make anyone weak. It only means you are giving value to what you Fear of. What makes a person weak is escaping. Some may postpone confronting the fear and still not be weak but just not strong enough yet, but those who went away...walked away... And ran away from it are weak. Walking away from a situation is not a sign of weakness. You can walk away and be your strongest because you have confronted your fear of leaving. It is okay to be afraid as long as you cease to fear the same thing all over. If you keep on being afraid even if the situation is already different, you are not afraid of what you think of. You are undeniably afraid of leaving your comfort zone. Sometimes we blind ourselves of shallow fears but deny that a bigger deeper fear is the root of it all. That's okay. As lonh as you don't neglecy or linger into the narrow thoughts and eventually face your most feared realities. It is okay to be afraid... But it ...

Do you really have Clinical Depression?

Do you really have Clinical Depression? I met a new friend and had a very profound conversation with him for a few span of hours. He told me he was diagnosed with Clinical Depression during his College days. We went at the same university, the prime university of our country, but of different batch so I never knew nor heard of him by any minute chance or whatsoever. Anyway, he told me about his diagnosis after feeling bad about his diagnosis as compared to what I really went through. I may have been into a psychologist before but it was long after I had my biggest struggle dated. He told me he only had minor issues which i guess he exaggerated with his self-centered-ness which can never go at par with mine. I would like to assume that when someone is Depressed, they are frustrated because the world is not working for them. That the universe is not serving them their perfect world. That they suddenly felt that they need to exert unpleasant effort just to make themselves happ...

Why we Smile

Why we smile is not about what makes us smile but simply because "we can." We don't need to smile at specific reasons exclusively. We don't need to stop smiling just because we think we must not. There are appropriate avenues to express happiness, but in every place we go, a smile will make any situation better. We smile because we can. There will always be moments when we get physically tired from crying but once we get to rest a bit, try out to squeeze in a quick smile and trust me, you can easily feel better and smile longer again. Smile not just because you are happy but because you know in yourself you can make someone happy and that someone could also be your own self. After reading this, give yourself a smile. You deserve it. Only you can make you frown. Only you can make you smile. Smile!
